ABOUT DIANA O.
A strong communicator and Culture professional, with vast experience in Internal Communications and Engagement, former radio journalist, I\'ve worked for over 20 years in the Banking industry, in various roles. I\'m a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Communications. Previous experience in Change, responsible for a wide range of Engagement and comms activities, including large-scale programme comms. Examples include high profile Digital and Multi-channel banking projects, supporting comms to branches during largest integration of its kind in the history of UK FS, following acquisition of HBOS by Lloyds, and designing the colleague comms strategy for the largest PPI wind-down in the industry, in preparation for the PPI deadline. Currently Engagement and Comms Lead for a large team in Lloyds Banking Group. Passionate about Inclusion & Diversity, with a special interest in Disability and Ethnicity, I volunteer on the Lloyds Banking Group\'s Access Disability Network Steering Committee. I design and deliver presentations on Disability awareness, and I support colleagues with long-term health conditions (and their managers) to flourish at work. I have a number of mentees. I\'m a Public Speaker for Diabetes UK, Britain\'s leading Diabetes charity, and a Service Champion. I deliver talks on Diabetes and the work of Diabetes UK and meet with NHS representatives to help improve local diabetes care and patient education. Vice-Chair of my local GP practice\'s Patient Participation Group (PPG). Widely applicable experience which I successfully use as a speaker - would like to further develop my career in motivational speaking. Specialties and Interests: Written Communications, Written Press, Radio Journalism, PR, Politics, Sociology, Lean / Six Sigma, Customer Experience, Treating Customers Fairly, Change Management, Public Speaking, Banking (Branch network experience, Operations, Collections & Recoveries, Complaints), Foreign Languages spoken: Romanian (native) and Norwegian (intermediate), Indigenous Cultures (especially the arctic Sami culture)
