Prepares initial PPAP and specific customer requirements for General Motors and Toyota by collecting relevant documents and verifies submission.• Supports customer visits related to new projects.• Moderates problem solving activities within project when a customer corrective action is required.• Review and approve PPAP from internal suppliers.• Supports Project Manager/Project Team Leader in customer APQP.• Actively participate in APQP Project CFT from Phase 1 to Phase 5.• Act as the voice of the plant into APQP Project CFT for Quality related issues Phase 1 to Phase 5.• Ensures alignment between PFMEA, Control Plan, CC/SC list and drawings.• Responsible to cascade customer project specific Quality requirements to the plant.• Ensures that parts shipped by the plant (including prototypes) are meeting specifications.• Supports PFMEA Go, See and Fix.• Verifies lab test gauges, fixtures, etc. with Engineering.• In charge of handover of Quality tasks to Production Quality during phase 5.
