As the lead Failure Analysis engineer supporting Synopsys\' HAPS® prototyping platforms, I perform in-depth investigations on field failures of Synopsys\' hardware prototyping and emulation devices. My work ensures that the field performance of these products are closely monitored, all the failures/issues are investigated to a clear/confirmed root cause all the way from system level down to component level. As a part of my role, I work closely with cross-functional engineering teams across several time zones to ensure fault isolation, hardware/software categorization of the issues, root cause identification, vendor FA (on necessary scenarios), feedback FA findings to design/development teams to drive engineering changes, corrective actions and for future product improvement.
