ABOUT DHRUV KAMATH

I am a Chemical Engineering graduate student from Northeastern University, Boston, USA with 30 months of experience in the manufacturing industry including 12 months in additive manufacturing and prior experience working with clients to come up with tailored solutions to their various needs. My most relevant experience is being a former Materials Engineering Intern at Desktop Metal (one of the prominent metal additive manufacturing companies in USA and 50 smartest companies 2017 by MIT Technology Review).While working at Desktop Metal I carried out various responsibilities like materials characterization, printing test parts, optimization of printing settings for different materials, and minimizing cost & maximize part properties. I know how to use Freeman rheometer, Instron, XPS, Dilatometer, SEM, and GeoPyc machines and worked with AutoCAD & Solid Works in case of software. During my tenure at Desktop Metal, I got the opportunity to work with the Materials team and R&D team to launch new products for our clients like H13 Tool Steel and Titanium alloy.Currently based on Ras al Khaimah, UAE, I am looking for opportunities where I can serve my skills and experience esp. in the field of Product Development, Materials Manufacturing, and 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing.
