My journey in the realm of aquaculture began at Kerala University of Fisheries Science, where I discovered my passion for ensuring the well-being of aquatic life, particularly the health of fish. This fascination led me to embark on a master\'s adventure in Aquaculture Health Management, where I explored the intricate world of fish genetics, health, and nutrition, spanning from their early larval stages to adulthood. Fueling my curiosity, I honed in on the pivotal role of fish feed and nutrition, which propelled me to seize an exciting internship opportunity at Matis Iceland. Here, I delved into the enigmatic realm of white leg shrimp, unraveling their responses to a myriad of diets and dissecting the profound impact of feed ingredients on their very survival. But the adventure didn\'t stop there. For my thesis, I plunged headfirst into the microscopic universe, investigating the molecular intricacies of how feed influences the development of tilapia larvae. The journey was not just intellectually stimulating but also profoundly enlightening, revealing the boundless possibilities of optimizing feed for the holistic well-being of fish. As an aquaculture enthusiast, I view the crafting of the perfect feed blend as an exhilarating puzzle—a challenge where every ingredient holds the key to unlocking the ultimate balance between fish welfare, environmental harmony, and production efficiency.
