ABOUT DERYA EMIN
I started out in microscopy as an undergraduate researcher. During my PhD, working with brain derived samples using super-resolution microscopy, I studied mechanisms behind neurodegeneration.After that, I spent a few years in the startup scene, working with innovative technologies in the life science market. Always a technology enthusiast and problem solver, you could often find me with a screwdriver in one hand running from lab to lab.As Regional Sales Manager at Discover Echo, I now focus on teaching and tailoring microscopy solutions for scientists and researchers. Capturing that image, the adrenaline rush, the single frame that sparks a new idea, the moments in the lab that keep discovery exciting, is something I know well.
