As the strategic business partner and one of 3 Directors responsible for the commercial delivery of the Dundee site (350+ people) I have completed a full org redesign with headcount cost resizing allowing further investment in higher calibre talent. Additional examples of change management include, but not limited to designing, negotiating (Unite the Union) and introducing multiple reward strategies, ownership and transformation of payroll outsourcing, put in place talent review & succession models for both office professionals and shopfloor workers to ensure targeted personal development plans, improvements in employee engagement & culture through a new employee value proposition approach (inc online communication app etc), coach and mentor the site Dundee Management team and established a new HR team with a focus on delivering commercial business solutions. Seamless data driven change management has been key to ensure the foundations are in place for the future business growth vision. More generally the role has accountability for driving all aspects of the HR functional strategy and operational delivery of the site as well as UK/ EMEA transformation projects delivering bottom up local as well as top down global initiatives working with the regional and global executive leadership as part of the DFS Operating Company. Key strategic areas include, but not limited to, Organisation Design & Talent Management, Reward Solution Management, People Engagement & Cultural Experience, Payroll Design & Delivery, Policy Development, Procedure Efficiency Design and Execution, Union Partnership etc, with a Productivity and Commercial outcome focus.
