After completing my M.S. in Anthrozoology at Canisius College, I now work for The Humane League, a nonprofit organization devoted to ending the abuse of animals raised for food.My overall goal is to find the best way for me to effect the most positive change in the area of farmed animal protection. Perhaps because of my communications background, I believe that the ability to communicate effectively with different audiences is crucial in the fight to improve farmed animal welfare; as an Anthrozoologist, I believe that analyzing the way humans view themselves in relation to other animals (both on and off the plate) is the key to this effective communication.My other career is as Duet and VIZ operator, a role and title I will hold for the foreseeable future.
