ABOUT DELPHINE TSINAJINNIE
Tsinajinnie\'s album,\"Mother\'s Word,\" is heard on over 300 radio programs around the world. Her artistry is inspired by her father\'s research on Navajo music and philosophy. As the daughter of multicultural educators and as a former elementary bilingual reading and drama teacher, she supports indigenous language revitalization. She has also taught Navajo language as a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University.She has performed for diverse venues in the United States, Australia, England, Japan, and Canada. Delphine’s performance at the National Museum of the American Indian of the Smithsonian institution garnered rave reviews. She appeared on sports networks when she sang the national anthem at National Basketball Association’s Phoenix Suns games. As a Screen Actors\' Guild eligible actor, Delphine, made her principal acting debut in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie,\"The Lost Child\" starring Mercedes Rhuel, Jamey Sheridan, Tantoo Cardinal, and Irene Bedard. She appears in the music video \"Until the Eagle Falls\" on MTV and VH-1 with R&B artist, Janice-Marie formerly of A Taste of Honey. Her voice is also heard on Rosetta Stone Navajo software.Delphine is a graduate student at Utah State University focusing on business and economics. As a Yorke Bannard Scholar, Delphine studied linguistics and pedagogical media development at the University of Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with researchships in Ocular Physiology and Cancer Genetics from Arizona State University. She is a recipient of the Tau Beta Pi/IBM Award and the National Bausch & Lomb Science and Mathematics Award. Delphine is on the roster of the National Chancellor’s List, the Who’s Who of American graduate students.
