ABOUT DEGAN CHETANA

Hi, I’m Chetana! I’m currently a third-year Computer Science Engineering student, with a strong interest in product management, global business, and how technology-driven products are shaped by strategy and markets.While I’m building my technical foundation as a CSE student, I’m especially drawn to product management—understanding user needs, defining problem statements, prioritizing features, and working at the intersection of business, design, and engineering. I enjoy analyzing products, thinking through trade-offs, and understanding how product decisions influence both user experience and long-term business outcomes.I’m currently working on ModelMinds, a learning-driven initiative where I explore market thinking and country-level dynamics across 13+ countries in Asia. Through this journey, I focus on understanding how different countries function—why their markets behave the way they do, how policies, culture, and economic structures shape business environments, and what makes each ecosystem unique. ModelMinds is a space where I document my learnings, observations, and evolving perspectives.Alongside this, I have a growing interest in international relations and global market dynamics, particularly how regional ecosystems, cross-border expansion, and economic shifts influence product and business strategies.I’m actively seeking internship opportunities where I can learn more about product management, business strategy, and global business, gain hands-on exposure, collaborate with thoughtful teams, and contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow.I’m keen to connect with people who enjoy discussing ideas, markets, and the thinking behind how things work.
