Yuba Water Agency is literally powering a brighter future for Yuba County. But for years, this agency flew under the radar, largely unknown by the people it serves. The agency is blessed with California\'s most precious resource - water, and uses its hydropower revenue to make Yuba County a better place to live, work and play. As someone who was born and raised in this area, I couldn\'t resist the opportunity to be part of efforts to rebuild this community.

I am extremely passionate about proactive communication and staying on top of the latest trends in this ever-changing field. I\'ve worked on both sides of the communication game - starting as a journalist for broadcast radio and television stations, and transitioning to public affairs for government agencies. I am also a professional voice actor with a broadcast-quality home studio for remote recording. I love a good challenge. I am a life-long learner - I completed my Master\'s degree in 2015: an MS in Management (Public Relations concentration), and since then have rediscovered the joy of reading for pleasure!
