ABOUT DECLAN MURPHY

Burnetts supply over 50 million rubber and plastic injection mouldings to over 64 locations worldwide. Trusted as a supply partner to global market leaders, the business supplies a diverse range of markets including industrial battery, automotive, cable seals, and more. Having worked in the manufacturing sector for ten years, I am honoured to work as Managing Director, creating the vision for the future and delivering this with the management team. I maintain a high level of energy in my work which we share throughout the business. I will always focus on supporting the team and driving us to exceed customer expectations. Customers will always remain at the forefront of what we do. Our aim is always to be better for those who trust us with their business, and through this focus, we now operate as an automotive first-tier and first-choice supplier to leading global brands. Creating the correct culture is paramount to my work, one that truly embraces our people, as this ultimately supports the team’s personal development and facilitates business improvement and growth. Burnetts will always be close to my heart, and I have a true passion for challenging not only myself but the team I am fortunate enough to work with. In 2022 I was shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year for the Central & East region, something I remain proud of. Like work, I seek challenges in my personal life with fitness giving me this platform. Achievements are: Running 2:54 at the London Marathon, 5:58 in my first Ironman 70.3 and 57:00 Hyrox Doubles.
