I’m a lifelong planetary defender, working in philanthropy to advance a clean energy future in the U.S, helping states, cities, and communities transition away from extractive industries. Outside of my day job, I turn climate anxiety into stories. My debut novel, Mean Higher High Water (Vine Leaves Press; available wherever books are sold), imagines a climate-ravaged world where survival is uncertain, danger is everywhere, and hope is a luxury few can afford.
