ABOUT DEANNE TAENZER

It\'s been an exciting journey so far. With a mind that is ever looking forward and seeking a challenge, knowledge and the next adventure, my past experiences have added great colour to the road I am currently walking. My career started quite young - I ran my own business when I was 17; that business put me through university and started my creative entrepreneurship and seeking out every last drop of my never ending interests. Next was marketing and strategy at Dun and Bradstreet where leading this new thing called the \"internet\" was foreign to my older colleagues but exciting for me. I wrote all the marketing language for this new online world.Next, I was enamoured by Tech, and in came Necho and Panorama. Responsible for partners and strategy, I started my international experience. I lapped it up. But, my mind said, unless I was knee deep in understanding what we offered, I couldn\'t speak well to it or write about it, so I became a closet geek; learning the technology lingo and all that made it work. Microsoft was my biggest partner. I liked them and they liked me too - so they hired me. For six years I learned everything from Channel Development and Partner Management, to hosting, cloud, mobility and incubation technologies. I had been using my writing and relationship skills to sell the whole time, but hadn\'t been deep in the sales arena - so I jumped in with both feet at Microsoft and because of my background I thrived, driving results and hitting targets.BlackBerry introduced me to communicating effectively with Enterprise organizations and C-level executives and how they need to view their businesses as they changed in the mobility space alongside the advent of social media and consumerization. As Director at InfoTech, I drove my team towards communication excellence and providing an interesting perspective, in turn businesses respondedExpertFile is a new managed services poised to truly remind us that people and their expertise are far more interesting than anything else. In an era where trust is lacking, credibility is hard to identify and there is so much information to sift through, ExpertFile is helping organizations cut through the noise. Turning into business leads, media attention, reputation excellence and trusted information. What an exciting journey this has been.
