COVID-19 Response Communications: Leading the organization\'s COVID-19 response communications which includes updating information about programs and services based on changing context, website and social media updates, donor stewardship, communications campaigns for fundraising initiatives, media engagement around issues impacting our communities, and advocacy communications.* Social media management: Engagement with different stakeholders (communities, allies, donors, funders, and media), issues tracking, information and resource sharing, and content creation.* Writing and photography: Documenting The 519\'s year-round programs and services through photography and writing.* Communications support: Copy editing, developing communications collaterals, and assets for various program and service needs.* Media engagements: Proactive and reactive engagement with the media around LGBTQ2S issues, prepping key messages, speeches, press releases, and media advisories.* Capacity building: Training staff to do their work effectively in various virtual and social media.The 519 is a registered charity and a City of Toronto agency.
