ABOUT JASON DAY
I have a solid background in media relations. I now work in Press & PR communications for the University of Northampton and have previously worked for the National Farmers Union and the General Medical Council. At the GMC, I had lead responsibility for media related work around their Fitness to Practise function, Scottish affairs and legislation and the medical Royal Colleges. Latterly, I specialised in social media communications, writing messages for and managing the GMC\'s corporate Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, helping to steer these channels to posting frequent, proactive messages and answering reactive conversations. I have excellent knowledge and/or appreciation of all forms of cinema having studied film, academically or from my own personal interest, in one form or another for the past 15 years. I run my own film reviews and news website and write regular film reviews for Celebrate MK magazine and the core arts and entertainment listings website in the Milton Keynes/North Bucks region, Total MK.
