I manage a portfolio of people-related strategic and organisational effectiveness initiatives in IT focused on tangible business outcomes and value creation through collaboration. This includes initiatives relating to contingent workforce recruitment and management, employee recruitment and job families creation. Stakeholder engagement, identification of improvement opportunities and dependencies are particularly key. I am also the Graduate Programme Manager for IT and I am accountable for the recruitment, placement rotation, offboarding and pastoral care for approximately 25 grads. This involves significant stakeholder management, continuous improvement and focus on customer experience.My overall role is to drive value, build capability and deliver in a prioritised manner against strategy. I work in an adaptive and Agile manner to deliver against my objectives and achieve key results by managing internal and external dependencies and risks. I ensure activities are joined up from an operational, change and delivery point of view with a focus on lessons learnt and continuous improvement. A key element of my role is collaboration and stakeholder management with IT, HR and business colleagues and senior leaders to build effective relationships.
