ABOUT DAWN BAILEY

Currently engaged in Delivery Excellence- Tooling, Playbooks & Best practicesDawn previously led Strategies for World Wide Accelerated Value Programs/Expertise Connect @ IBM. Responsible for world wide global growth programs, education and NPS initiatives, Dawn creates, and implements standardized process and program improvements requiring strategic, business focused consensus. Dawn is experienced in lead generation, contract negotiations, escalations and time critical responsiveness in order to support the business using strong communication and organizational skills. Prior to this role Dawn held a senior manager position on a development team responsible for internal systems designed to support the release of quality software, via Agile methodologies, and for creating Dev Ops operational improvements. This was inclusive of disaster recovery plans, process/program implementation and worldwide adoption of consistent standards. In addition to this Dawn was holding an Education mandate for the division, driving accessibility requirements through the business, and led a team of database administrators supporting WW lab wide projects and programs. Her work with offshore project setup resulted in improvements and significant cost savings for major programs, in addition to delivery of high quality software. Dawn also drove the Globalization, Release management and Accessibility programs for the Business Analytics division. In 2012 Dawn was a key participant in a highly successful Smarter Cities engagement - the details of which can be seen here addition to this Dawn sits on the board of a local non profit agency designed to bring project management skills to local non profit agencies. Dawn acts as a coach and instructor. Dawn coaches a local STEM Destination Imagination team to global competitions for youth. Dawn is the sole proprietor of Dawnings Custom Design - a small custom jewelry business.
