Over 30 years ago, I founded DS Cohen & Associates. We focus on helping organizations align their people practices with their culture and strategy. I am a speaker, author, and thought leader on corporate culture and behavioral competencies, with multiple awards and publications in the field. I am passionate about creating organizations as amazing as the people inside them and making the people initiatives business activities that produce results.I am known for being a contrarian consultant, challenging popular viewpoints and offering innovative and practical solutions. My mission is to link the people side of business with the strategic business plan and to empower leaders and employees to achieve their full potential.My work involves working with executive teams, facilitating conversations that bring clarity to the values through the articulation of behaviors, and implementing people management processes in the areas of behavioral competencies, behavioral interviewing, performance management, high potential identification, and employee and leadership development. I also coach individuals at the leadership levels of organizations and teach at the York U. Schulich School of Business SEEC and Durham College.
