ABOUT DAVID MOGAVERO

Senior Principal of Mogavero Architects: an architecture, urban planning and development firm in Sacramento, California. Began my career designing naturally heated and cooled buildings thirty years ago.My practice now embraces the full range of progressive community design, such as high density mixed use urban infill and holistic building systems, including daylighting, natural ventilation, passive heating and cooling, orientation, solar shading and water recycling. My roles as developer and environmental advocate help conceive projects that are economically viable and sensitive to the community and the environment.I have more than 30 years of experience in architecture with special expertise in the areas of ecological building, environmental planning, infill development, urban design and place-making design.I am committed to human-based architecture, the revitalization of existing neighborhoods, economic and ecological sustainability of communities, and participation in the planning and design process by end-users.
