ABOUT DAVID BLEVINS

I\'m a band nerd.How is this relevant? I\'d argue that nothing has had a greater impact on my professional career than the 23+ years I spent as performer and educator in that field. Lessons of self-discipline, perseverance, and commitment have been applicable to every position I\'ve held.The process of breaking down complex musical passages into digestible bits so they can be perfected and put back together to form an impactful work of art contains distinct parallels to my responsibilities as a designer, developer, and digital marketer.Music requires the perfect balance of creativity and analytics. It\'s emotion dictated by a defined mathematical framework to produce an audience response. Many of my duties revolve around finding that harmony between creativity and business objectives to get that desired crowd reaction.Ultimately, I consider myself a cross-disciplinary communication professional. If we\'re being honest, that\'s a fancy way to say I \"wear multiple hats.\" This is a description I embrace, especially if one of those hats has a Power T for Tennessee on it (Go Vols).My daily commitment is to make a difference. The capacity in which this occurs certainly varies, but the goal remains the same. A day that I help facilitate a process that benefits an individual, company or organization, is time well spent.I\'m most driven when someone is depending on me to solve a problem. The phrase \"not my job\" isn\'t in my vocabulary.
