I specialise in helping clients and their insurers manage allegations and claims arising from both recent and non-recent sexual, physical and emotional abuse. I also have substantial experience in regulatory law and Coroner\'s Court proceedingsI am the lead for the national Practice Group in the management of allegations and safeguarding investigations arising from a sporting context and I have advised numerous high profile private clients and their insurers across a range of sports including football, swimming, golf and gymnastics.I also advise charities, faith organisations, schools, care providers and local authorities and their insurers.As well as advising on the management of claims and allegations I give advice with regard to the establishment and operation of Schemes of Redress and the creation and management of alternative claims processes. I was also heavily involved with the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA).I also provide proactive advice and guidance to organisations with regard to safeguarding generally.
