ABOUT DAVID DEVINE

Enthusiastic and dedicated. Throughout my life, I have attempted to exemplify these characteristics on a daily basis. Whether it is in school, work, or extracurricular activities, I always put forth my best effort and maintain a positive attitude, and this in turn benefits both myself and other individuals around me. I am passionate about learning and finding value in everything I do, and I always confront challenges and new tasks with a positive mindset.As a student pursuing an undergraduate degree through the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, I have found it challenging to balance my heavy academic workload with both my job and extracurricular activities. However, this challenge has taught me effective time management skills and flexibility, no matter how busy my schedule can get. On a weekly basis, these skills have helped me excel in my academics, coordinate philanthropies, and other activities for my fraternity, and focus on my job. In addition to being enthusiastic, dedicated, and flexible, I also exemplify my leadership and communication skills on a daily basis. As a former collegiate student-athlete, I developed and honed my leadership and communication skills. As a result, I can now use these skills in my current endeavors, such as training new employees at work or mentoring others. I believe that the skills that I have developed have well prepared me for my future academic endeavors, and will also help me find success in the business world.
