ABOUT DAVIDE DAVOLIO

Passionate about global affairs, I hold a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Bologna, with a focus on strategic studies and international economics, particularly across the Indo-Pacific. My thesis explored U.S. Department of Defense perceptions of China’s strategic intentions and capabilities (2001–2016), reflecting my early interest in defense and intelligence. Throughout my studies, I expanded my international exposure with exchange semesters at Stockholm University and the Australian National University, followed by internships at the EU Delegation in India, the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C, and NATO HQ SACT. These experiences helped shape a strong foundation in international relations across diplomatic, military, and commercial domains in four different continents.Since 2020, I’ve transitioned into the corporate security sector, first as a Security Center Analyst at Control Risks @Uber, where I worked on real-time intelligence and global incident monitoring. I now serve as a Regional Security Specialist, focusing on crisis response, threat monitoring, and intelligence-led support to business operations across Europe.Driven by a genuine interest in international security and intelligence, I thrive in dynamic environments and continue to grow at the intersection of strategy, risk, and resilience.
