I am responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of domestic and global radio and audio editorial training for the BBC Academy. Working with senior editorial leaders to identify their priorities, then devising a range of blended learning processes to develop skills gaps. Significant experience in digital and face-to-face in Conference and event organisation, production and facilitator.• Digital Innovation: I have successfully run a series of digital first training interventions including via Zoom, Podcasts, Texts, WhatsApp. I am working with colleagues projects to widen our delivery platforms further including Artificial Intelligence / Voice Command and scenario-led digital films where the user makes decisions.• Women in Radio: delivered a series of national workshops searching for new women presenter talent, a project supported by the BBC’s Director General• Core Skills Offering: I reviewed our entire radio Core Skills offering and as well as totally refreshing our offer, developed 2 week long residential courses. Presenters’ School and Producer Camp are both aimed at emerging new talent.I have trained on the BBC Leadership Programme, for new and emerging leaders and have been part of the team supporting the recent expansion of the BBC World Service. Delivered internationally, this includes journalism skills and principles, BBC values, storytelling across platforms, interviewing and social media.
