Reporting into the Chief Retail Officer, I manage the relationship with seven International Franchise Partners across 12 markets with a total of 42 stores and associated online presence• Responsibility for the International Franchise team and managing the cross functional relationships within the business to tailor all aspects of commercial, operational and visual requirements for the partners to trade under the Matalan brand in their local markets• I Influence trading actions and budgets to reflect market conditions which enables the delivery of positive sales and EBITDA performance. Ensuring the long-term profitability of all partnerships whilst acting as brand ambassador and protecting the Matalan brand• Regular market visits and quarterly business reviews, driving both internal and partner performance through reviews of new locations, operations, range, price and format• Full budgeting and P&L responsibility for the International Franchise channel within the business, including leadership of a team of six• Delivered an updated international review including capability appraisal and forward strategy considerations into Matalans five-year planning process• Maintained the EBITDA contribution of the International Franchise channel through the change in business ownership and a level of uncertainty
