Manager of the computing team, composed of 7 people from different background. I took over the team at a period where there was no clear leadership, and re-shaped it into an efficient and organised group.The team\'s goals are very broad and diverse. To only cite a few- Improving simulation speed and accuracy- Development of new tools, to strengthen both R&D and production- Maintaining a robust development environment, to allow different tools to work together- Writing of documentation and tutorials, for both users, and future developers. During my time as head of the team, we made a lot of technical progress, as well as structural ones, greatly improving our way of working.Technical - Implementation of a totally new workflow for users, allowing much faster development, and smoother use of our software- Better homogenisation of the different tools working together, preventing mistakes at both the user, and the developer level- Continuous push for the use of cloud computing, to drastically increase our simulation capabilities. This is done by leveraging the different solutions already existing in the company.Structural - Implementation of Scrum (Agile framework) within the team, in an adapted way to our work- Development of clear release procedures, improving features delivery to user, and alignment between team members- Re structuration of our documentations, using existing platform within the company.
