The Center for Civic Engagement serves as a “convener of conversations” on issues public importance. We strive to help the community better understand the people, policies and politics that shape our state, nation, and world. Through a variety of events and activities the Center- Informs the campus and community about important issues of public concern through non-partisan dialogue- Supports and undertakes efforts to enhance civic engagement and civic literacy- Promotes research related to public policy to inform policy makers and the public- Encourages student involvement in civic engagement and public policy through volunteerism, internships and experiential learning
