Samuel T. Bauer, MD, MBA, FACHE, CPE, FACOG is a physician-executive and visionary healthcare leader dedicated to advancing quality, safety, experience, and value across complex health systems.He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at William Beaumont University Hospital, the flagship academic medical center of Corewell Health and the largest hospital in Michigan. In this role, Dr. Bauer provides executive leadership for clinical quality, patient safety, medical staff engagement, graduate medical education, and strategic clinical operations across a highly complex, tertiary/quaternary care environment. He also serves as Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Dr. Bauer is a Certified Physician Executive and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
