ABOUT DAVE LANCASTER

ABOUT ME I’m passionate about creating content that cuts through. As Marketing and Communications Manager for Shopblocks, I’m crafting impactful strategies to amplify brand presence, drive customer engagement, and empower businesses with tailored, flexible e-commerce solutions. At SD Worx, I drove full-funnel marketing campaigns that generated lucrative leads, from thought leadership webinars and events to securing case studies with household names and winning industry awards. In the highly regulated world of payroll and HR, I always found the human angle that delivered real ROI.At Brother International Europe, I worked across 29 countries, creating on-brand marketing collateral and campaigns tailored to the nuances of local markets. As a film critic, I’ve been personally endorsed by Oscar-nominated director & Monty Python legend Terry Gilliam. As a freelancer, I’ve helped global brands expand into new territories and launch new products.Turning my passion for writing and storytelling into a profession has been my greatest achievement - and I’m just getting started!MY EXPERIENCE My first job was in journalism, writing daily news and features under tight deadlines.Next, I founded my own content company and landed my dream contract: managing content for 100+ cinema websites and their weekly newsletters. I co-designed a new UX-focused site template, tested it, and boosted network-wide ad revenue. I was also the in-house film critic.Hungry for corporate/B2B experience, I joined Brother International to deliver a full range of marketing assets (webpages, videos, whitepapers, presentations, etc.) supporting business solutions and product launches. I also led content and social campaigns across Europe, defined the YouTube strategy, and delivered lead-gen campaigns via LinkedIn and Hybris email platforms. At SD Worx, I standardised my successful UK marketing initiatives across Europe. My campaigns spanned sales enablement, SEO, PR, live events, thought leadership, expert webinars, awards recognition, AI tools, and more - always working closely with sales, implementation teams, and global partners to deliver results. Now, as Marketing and Communications Manager for Shopblocks, I’m shaping the brand and driving engagement to position Shopblocks as a leader in B2B e-commerce. From strategy development to multi-channel execution, I’m amplifying our presence and delivering measurable impact in this exciting, dynamic space.Want to know more? Let\'s talk!
