Hey! I\'m Dave, a creative marketing manager with a huge passion for creating innovative, boundary-pushing campaigns, as well as bringing the very best out of my team.Having crafted my expertise and understanding within hands-on creative roles for a number of years, I then took on management of a full team and quickly realised this is something that came extremely naturally to me, and that I really excelled in. As a result, I was recommended as the best person to move over to Huddersfield SU to support during not only a very difficult period for the department here, but also the busiest in the annual calendar.I don\'t just manage team members, my love for the job comes from supporting, pushing and training individuals to be the best they can be, and making sure they are genuinely excited to come into work each day - that is when the best work is produced.As mentioned, I\'ve worked hard to hone my skills within graphic design, photo editing, animation, audio editing, radio, motion graphics, social media management, copy writing, creative administration (planning, risk assessments, mood boards, etc) as well as time and people management.As well as this, I\'ve racked up an impressive list of clients since moving to Manchester over a decade ago, ranging from one-off, high profile video interviews to following campaigns for several months and across different countries and shoot locations. This delicate balance of full time and freelance work has given me a broad understanding of client needs, adaptability, forward planning, as well as careful time and expectation management.
