ABOUT DAVE TREWEEK

Live TV is my passion. Throughout my career I\'ve always gravitated towards live production and leading teams to help deliver a successful production. Throughout my career I\'ve been fortunate enough to work in the entire pipeline of live. Be it as an Operations Manager, a Tech-Manager, a Multi Camera Director or to plan and build you a studio and train your staff in all aspects of live broadcast. This deep knowledge helps me design mechanisms and solutions to ensure a smooth production.From my early days at Bloomberg I ran the operations team before moving across to become lead director and relaunch their flag ship shows, I then moved to the freelance world where I was directing at BBC, Sky Sports and fixed rig reality shows such as Big Brother and Love Island, as well as working with several Premier League clubs including Spurs, Crystal Palace and West Ham. The travel and variety was a great place to learn new skills and travel to some of the most beautiful places in the world. Currently the Operations Manager for the London operation for Prime Video where my team ensure our Tentpole properties such as UEFA Champions League run without a hitch as well as our thousands of Linear services. This role involves pre-planning and event management and wrap up, interacting with all our partner teams to help build tooling and mechanisms to detect and mitigate issues in the fastest possible time.
