Dave assisted with the development of and ongoing updates to the CAN/ULC-S716.2 (EIFS Installation Standard) and CAN/ULC-S716.3 (EIFS Design Standard), The EIFS Practice Manual and site auditor requirements for the EIFS Quality Assurance Program (EQI).Dave has knowledge and practical experience with numerous building envelope enclosure systems including:Walls: exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), stucco, brick masonry, stone, cladding/siding systems (metal, vinyl, simulated masonry/stone panels), concrete, foundation moisture protection, curtain wall and windows.Roofing: Built-Up, EPDM, PVC, Metal, Asphalt Shingles, Skylights. Critical Detailing Components: membrane and metal flashings, sealants, gaskets.Dave is also experienced with balcony and parking garage condition assessment and repair, site concrete and asphalt pavement, water penetration investigations and thermographic scanning.Dave is a LEED Green Associate.
