I joined the team at Super Contractors, the Contractor specialist in April 2016 following a successful period at Lifetime Planning.I have been very successful since joining, being particularly proud to qualify for the First Complete Recognising Excellence Awards in Krakow in November 2017, as one of the top 70 advisers nationwide across over from the network. I was also the top performing adviser across all business types to be based in Scotland within the First Complete (now PRIMIS) network in 2017 as a whole. I added to this by being the top adviser overall in Scotland in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and qualifying for the Recognising Excellence Awards in Lisbon in May 2019.I advise on mortgages with a particular focus on the Contractor market, using clients\' day rates as the foundation for their affordability using a select number of lenders whom we, as a company, have developed strong relationships with. I have an in depth knowledge of how this can work with all different types of contracting post IR35, be that Ltd Co, direct PAYE or Umbrella.Further to that, I have a great knowledge of the protection marketplace, focusing on income protection and critical illness cover whilst also being able to arrange tax efficient arrangements such as relevant life cover. At present I am advising exclusively on mortgages, with the protection specialists in house then assisting clients with their insurance needs.I thoroughly enjoy working at Super Contractors and am proud to be part of a growing operation and hope to be an integral part of the future expansion and growth, with the aim being to be the number one contractor based brokerage in the UK.
