The Production Department is responsible and accountable for producing completed construction documents and specifications for all projects that will entre in to a construction phase.As a Production Manager I am responsible for managing a team of technical staff in the production and coordination of contract documents. I routinely coordinate with the Managing Director, Senior Technical Advisors and Director of Building Science in the day to day operations of the production department. I am involved in the peer review process providing input and reviewing team projects. Throughout my many years of experience I have been involved in a wide range of project types including; the Sheldon M Chumir Health Centre, the ENMAX Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo, SAIT Polytechnic Trades and Technology Complex, Deerfoot Meadows and the University of Calgary’s Schulich School of Engineering. My role involves (but is not exclusive to):Providing input during the Schematic Design and Design Development PhasesProject turnover: from design to contract administrationQuality Control implementationClient liaison to service client requirementsStudio managementManaging workload/schedulingMentoring team membersRecruitment and interviews
