As Public Relations Coordinator at the Amherst Center for Senior Services, I manage the organization’s communications, public and media relations, and community outreach efforts. My role focuses on building meaningful connections with stakeholders, sponsors/advertisers, and partners while sharing the stories that highlight the Center’s impact on older adults and the community.Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing strategic communications to strengthen visibility and engagementLeading media relations efforts, including press releases, events, and partnershipsSupporting fundraising initiatives and sponsor engagement strategiesResearching and writing for grant proposals to secure funding for programs and servicesPromoting special events and initiatives that enhance the lives of our members and the communityThrough this work, I aim to expand awareness, grow support, and advance the mission of providing a welcoming, enriching environment for older adults.
