With 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, I’m passionate about building lending programs that expand access, strengthen portfolios, and improve lives. As Director of Lending at Peninsula Credit Union, I lead the organization’s largest department—covering collections, consumer, mortgage, and indirect lending—while driving innovation, inclusion, and operational excellence.Fluent in Spanish, I’ve dedicated much of my career at Peninsula to advancing equitable access for Hispanic and underserved communities. I played a pivotal role in Peninsula Credit Union’s Hispanic Initiative, earning the Juntos Avanzamos designation through Inclusiv and creating bilingual certification programs, ITIN Lending workshops, and collaborations with other credit unions and national Latino organizations.I leverage strategic partnerships and technology—including Zest AI to modernize our credit strategies, introduce alternative credit models, and deliver smarter, faster, and fairer loan decisions.
