Consult with automation vendors and end-user businesses to explore, plan, and execute Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) proof of concepts (PoCs) and migrations to help them realize business value from such initiatives. Background: At the heart of every IIoT and Industrie4.0 implementation is the need for practical, secure, reliable, open data connectivity. As an open data connectivity leader, Matrikon provides OPC UA solutions for everyone from machine builders and equipment vendors to end-users running their plants, factories, buildings, etc. Given the breadth and depth of the rapidly changing IIoT field - I consult with companies to help identify if and how Matrikon solutions can be used to achieve their goals. Work with standards bodies like the OPC Foundation, Industrial Internet Consortium, MDIS, and others to evangelize the standards and best-practices they define. Goal is to help executives, managers, and automation professionals more easily understand how to best leverage IIoT/OPC UA in the context of their roles.
