Along with Chris Froggatt, I recently founded Loyalist Public Affairs, a boutique government relations and political strategy firm based in Ottawa and Toronto.At Loyalist, I develop strategies to help organizations thrive in an increasingly regulated world where public opinion and the political process frequently determine whether a project is given a chance to succeed. To do so, I apply the business strategy training I gained in my MBA and as a management consultant along with the deep understanding of the political process I developed during my time in government.

I possess a rare combination of senior government experience, an MBA, and private sector management experience. My professional experience combines several years as a senior advisor to a number of Canadian cabinet ministers with private sector experience as a technology executive and management consultant. I have also worked as a senior manager at a TSX venture exchange listed technology company, leading the design of new products and contributing to the company\'s strategy. Previously, I worked as a management consultant, helping organizations analyze and meet their most significant challenges.
