M&S is a popular and iconic British retailer of clothing, homeware and food. In this role I have technical ownership and leadership of a feature squad from the iOS perspective, working on the M&S app. We develop using an MVVM architecture, utilising both SwiftUI and UIKit. There is a mature CI/CD pipeline covering alpha and beta testing and production release channels. As a iOS technical lead, I have frequent input into cross-team architectural and code quality initiatives and I am also involved in the guidance and mentorship of more junior members of the mobile engineering team.
