Dana-Farber is a comprehensive cancer treatment and research center affiliated with Harvard Medical School located in Boston, MA. I administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment in the outpatient clinic at Longwood & I provide care to patients receiving treatment for diagnoses related to sarcoma, melanoma & cutaneous cancers as well as caring for patients in multiple different disease groups that are enrolled in various phase I clinical trials and early drug development. I’m also trained to care for our patients who are receiving bone marrow biopsies & I’m responsible for the administration of IV conscious sedation medications and continuous monitoring and assessing, I am also trained in our desensitization protocols and procedures which allow us to administer various chemotherapies and treatments to our allergy patients who have experienced varying degrees of hypersensitivity reactions.
