ABOUT DANIEL PIZARRO

Daniel Pizarro is an experienced Multimedia Journalist who is now a Correspondent with SBS World News.Regarded as one of the media industry\'s great \"all-rounders\", Daniel was formally a News Presenter with AsiaOne in Pakistan, the News Editor of 88.9 FM in Tamworth, NSW, 10 Regional News Presenter for Regional Queensland and former Video Journalist for 7 Spencer Gulf News in Port Augusta.He was previously with MyTV 53, Ngaarda Media, in the Parliamentary Press Gallery in Canberra, Australia and 2014 radio graduate at the Australian Film Television and Radio School. Other roles include News Director for Starter FM, Bureau Chief/Federal Political Reporter for online channel, Ticker TV, the Executive Producer for Radio 2CC\'s Drive show \'Canberra Live\', a Traffic Reporter for the Australian Traffic Network based out of Bankstown Airport & Campbelltown, the News Journalist for 2LF/Roccy FM in Young, as well as being a contributor to the Parkes Champion-Post, where he wrote weekly articles on the Parkes Panthers AFL team. Other previous roles included being the Deniliquin-based Afternoon Newsreader for 2QN, 102.5 The Edge, 3NE & 102.1 The Edge, a Correspondent/Producer with Press TV, a 24-Hour International News Channel based in the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as working with Germany’s International Broadcaster, Deutshe Welle, the Warwick Daily News, Network Ten and community radio station BLU FM (now Radio Blue Mountains).As a Journalist, Daniel has earned a solid reputation for fair, objective and accurate journalism on a diverse range of Australian and International issues.
