ABOUT DANIELE CASCIARO

Who am I? In three words: a curious, passionate, entrepreneurial individual. Ok, fine, they were five words but three adjectives. I worked six years long in the travel industry, two of which spent traveling across countries, functions and departments as an internal business consultant for TUI Group, the world’s largest integrated tourism group. As for the remaining 4 years, I spent them sharpening my project management and business optimisation skills, while building up the TUI Group global employee equity plan and performing job sizing, benchmarking and salary reviews in the Group Reward department.As of April 2021, I transitioned to the technology industry building up on the C&B career, so to broaden my horizons on one hand, and to deepen my reward expertise on the other hand. Also, I am a business process modeler – proficient in both MS Visio and Signavio software – and I must admit that visualizing and improving pockets of business processes is extremely interesting, value-adding and ultimately a lot of fun.I love studying foreign languages and I’m proud to be a member of the International Association of Hyperpolyglots. Currently fluent in 6 languages and able to order essential food and drink in a couple more, I feel so fulfilled by the sense of achievement that language learning brings, as well as the opportunity to experience authentic connections with a plethora of fascinating people around the globe. So what’s next for me? Maybe some of you out there can help me figure it out. Other than the above, I am always on the lookout for brain-food on phenomena such as connectivity, digitization, VR & AR, AI, robotics, material sciences, and so on. I am intrigued by the impact that they will have on the business landscape and industries of tomorrow, especially on the healthcare sector. I’m also curious to see how these macro trends will change current ways of working and what kind of skills will be required on the job market in 20 years time.
