I am an international corporate attorney with twenty-eight years of in-house experience with both large and small global companies. Currently, I am the Director of the Law Department and Corporate Secretary for Wood Mackenzie, Inc, an energy and mining research and consulting firm. With a combined law degree (JD) and MBA, I am able to deliver to clients sound legal advice that comports to their business needs. My specialties include: Compliance and Ethics, code of conduct and internal investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Acts (FCPA) and anti-bribery rules, charitable organizations, international trade (export controls, OFAC [Office of Foreign Assets Control] sanctions, International Trafficking in Arms Regulations [ITAR], free trade agreements, and anti-boycott and blocking statutes), corporate governance, employment and labor, privacy regulations (U.S. and European Union [EU]), transnational regulatory issues, and international contract transactions.
