ABOUT DAN BITTER

I was the kid growing up who\'d take apart his parent\'s computer for the sake of curiosity. Eventually I learned to (correctly) put them back together! I was also hooked on Legos from an early age and built some awesome robots, ships, etc.Today, I\'m still driven by curiosity and love tackling problems with a creative mindset. Thinking about how things work under the surface is second nature, and the picture below is a great example.I am a Software Engineering professional captivated with development in all parts of the product. My strength is web and mobile development, with experience in React, Redux, Java/Spring Boot, algorithm design, file analytics and processing, and video game logic and design.Outside of work, I\'m actively studying to get certified in Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS technologies.In my free time I enjoy riding and wrenching on motorcycles, designing my two-story, two-garage dream home, and constantly re-purposing my 20-drive server for various fun projects.My stretch goal is to build a portfolio of machine learning models, with text & image classification and object detection projects in the pipeline. I\'d love to integrate machine learning into my toolbox. I\'ve studied Dr. Strang\'s Linear Algebra course via MIT\'s OpenCourseware, and ML from fast.ai to cover-Text & image classification models-Speech synthesis from an audio source-Object detection models that analyze video sourcesI\'m sure you have an idea in your mind or a project on the table.
