ABOUT DANIELA SALVONI

As a Sales Manager at PHOTEC, Photon Technology Co, Ltd, I provide high-performance Superconducting Nanowires Single Photon Detectors (SNSPDs) systems to clients in various fields, such as quantum communication, astronomy, and biomedical imaging. I leverage my technical expertise and communication skills to understand the needs and expectations of each customer and to deliver customized solutions that meet their specifications and budget.I developed my domain knowledge and skills in SNSPDs and Lidar during my PhD in Physics at the University of Naples Federico II, where I worked on the fabrication and characterization of different materials and geometries for optimal detection in the infrared range. I also collaborated with the company ALA (Advanced Lidar Applications) and the Beijing Institute of Telemetry (BRIT) on several projects involving Lidar applications for environmental monitoring, traffic management, and defense. After completing my PhD in 2020, I continued to expand my research experience as a postdoctoral researcher at the same university, focusing on the development of novel SNSPDs devices and techniques.I am passionate about applying my scientific knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems and to create value for customers and society. I enjoy working with a diverse and dynamic team of professionals at PHOTEC, where I can contribute to the innovation and growth of the company and the industry. I am always eager to learn new things and to challenge myself in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
