ABOUT DANIEL RAMOS
Daniel is a lifelong technologist with exposure to a broad range of technology domains over the last 30 years, starting as a hobby and progressing into a career. For the last 18 years, Daniel has specialised in large-scale digital transformation programs across the public service. Daniel is currently the General Manager responsible for regulating Australia’s Digital ID system. Prior to this role, Daniel established the structures, technology systems and processes for regulating Digital ID and the Consumer Data Right at the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission In his earlier career, Daniel led teams at Services Australia and the Australian Taxation Office to deliver transformed customer-centric services for welfare, health, taxation, and superannuation. Daniel holds a Master of I.T. Project Management from the Swinburne University of Technology specialising in managing IT projects in multi-vendor environments. Daniel also holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from the Queensland University of Technology, majoring in Cyber Security and Networks. Daniel is a member of the Australian Computer Society, a Practitioner Member of the APS Digital Profession, and a member of the Queensland University of Technology’s IT Industry Advisory group - shaping the future of data and digital qualifications in Australia.
