ABOUT DANIEL OI
I am a quantum theorist with experience leading interdisciplinary teams of physicists (theory and experiment) and engineers (signal, mechanical, optical, aerospace, systems). I have a background in theoretical quantum physics and information with years of collaboration with experimentalists and engineers.My current research focus is on the development of space quantum technologies, particularly large-scale quantum entanglement distribution and quantum networking from space. A preliminary step is the deployment of satellite quantum key distribution and harnessing accelerating developments in free-space optical communication and photonics technologies.
