SUBSEA 7 : ISLAND VICTORY Working on the Shenandoah project in the Gulf of Mexico, overseeing the pre-lay of 12 mooring lines and the hook-up of a Floating Production Unit (FPU). Each 3.5km mooring line consisted of chain and Polyester rope, loaded onto the vessel via offshore crane transfer and vessels chain loading system. Key responsibilities included: Loading & spooling operations using deck winches, chain loading systems, and secondary winches. Mooring line installation, securing chains with shark jaws, and connecting Dyneema ropes with thimbles, shackles, and triplates. Final deployment using the vessel\'s knuckle boom crane, ensuring controlled tension and safe seabed placement via ROV assistance. Strict adherence to safety protocols, including a clear deck policy, ensured all operations were completed efficiently and without incident.
