ABOUT DANIEL DORSEY

Subject Matter Expert - VOIP, SIP, T.38, PRI, LNP, SBC, Channel Partnerships, Unified CommunicationsDan Dorsey has been working in the Media/Telecom industry for over 25 years and is the Vice President of Channel Partnerships at babyTEL. His career has seen him take on various decision making roles in companies such as CNW Group, Rogers Television, Sprint Canada and CKRK Radio. Dan is responsible for the sales growth of the babyTEL service portfolio and has established babyTEL as the world leader in T.38 Fax over Internet by providing superior fax services and solutions that routinely surpass those of ILEC carriers.Dan’s hands-on telecommunications background allows him to bridge the gap between sales and technology. He is just as comfortable mapping out High Availability architectures, as he is configuring SR140 fax drivers. Dan is a MBA graduate from the Kellogg-Schulich program at York University and earned his BA in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania. He was born in Montreal and attended St. George’s School for his grade school years.Past lives have also included being a Radio Announcer, a Voice Mail specialist, an Associate Television Producer and an Artist Manager for Top 40 singer/songwriter Pobi.Dan is an accomplished squash player and was part of the team that won the 2009 Frontier College SCRABBLE team Championship.
